Yetter Coleman Receives Pro Bono Award from Houston Volunteer Lawyers

Yetter Coleman’s commitment to pro bono legal work is a fundamental core value. We are honored to receive special recognition as an Equal Access to Justice Champion law firm from Houston Volunteer Lawyers, the pro bono legal aid arm of the Houston Bar Association, and the largest provider of pro bono legal services in Harris County and the surrounding areas.

Equal Access to Justice Champions (EAJ) are law firms and corporate legal departments that have pledged to handle one pro bono case for every five attorneys in their Houston offices. This year, over 40 organizations received this notable award.

Going beyond the minimums, Yetter Coleman’s pro bono coordinator, Amy Farish, reports that 100% of the firm’s associates have been meaningfully involved in pro bono activities this year. This is a remarkable achievement, indeed, and one of which we are all proud.
