Tracy LeRoy Honored With 2025 Premier Women in the Law Award by the Association of Women Attorneys Foundation

Yetter Coleman partner Tracy LeRoy has been named a 2025 Premier Women in the Law honoree, earning one of Houston’s most prestigious legal accolades for her leadership and dedication to advancing women in the profession.

The Association of Women Attorneys Foundation will present LeRoy with the award at the Association of Women Attorneys’ annual luncheon on April 3 in Houston.

A member of Yetter Coleman’s management committee, LeRoy is a trial lawyer who handles high-stakes business litigation. Much of her practice focuses on disputes in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry, including cases involving the exploration, production, and transportation of oil and gas, drilling rights, operating obligations, leasehold disputes, renewable fuel commodities, mineral rights, and pipeline issues. She is regularly honored by Chambers USA, Texas Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, and Lawdragon as one of the top business and energy litigators in Texas.

In addition to managing a busy practice with the firm, LeRoy serves as litigation counsel and board member to the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and a member of the Houston Advisory Board of the Institute for Energy Law. She also serves on the Business Council to the Houston Ballet and is a Houston ambassador for her law school, Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Yetter Coleman partner Amy Farish, who nominated LeRoy for the AWA award observed, “Tracy is a shrewd advocate, fierce negotiator, a present mother, and loyal friend who hasn’t just left a ladder for those behind her but built a well-lit staircase with a handrail.”
