Ping Sun Honored by Two Houston Organizations

We are proud to highlight our friend and Of Counsel attorney, Ping Sun for the two honors she has received this month from prominent Houston community organizations.

Ping was named to the Center for Houston’s Future Top 25 Business/Civic Leadership Forum Alumni list. The inaugural group was singled out from among 1,400 alumni of its Leadership Forum, which hosts two cohorts per year, bringing together leaders from across industries to focus on issues critical to the long-term success of Greater Houston. In addition to being an alumnus of the program, Ping serves on the organization’s board of directors.

The Asia Society Texas also honored Ping and her husband, David Leebron, former president of Rice University, at its 2025 Tiger Ball annual fundraiser. They were recognized for their “deep passion for education, long-term dedication to building bridges of international understanding, and firm commitment to serving Houston’s vibrant and diverse community.” Since 2012, Asia Society Texas has offered more than 150 programs supporting arts, culture, and education annually.
