Panel: How to Study the Government’s “Most Dangerous” Drugs?
Obtaining a DEA license to manufacture any drugs in schedule one is a difficult challenge. Matt Zorn joins Dr. Sue Sisley, Rick Doblin, and Dr. Julia Mirer in a session that will outline the process for gaining federal approvals to cultivate or synthesize drugs in schedule one, classified by the government as the ‘most dangerous and most addictive.’ The panelists believe in the urgency of seeking open access to MDMA- and psilocybin-assisted therapy for Veterans and other trauma victims who are at serious risk of self-harm and have exhausted all other therapy options.
