Partner Natalie Alfaro Gonzales spoke at the University of Texas School of Law CLE’s Advanced Patent Law Institute on Nov. 6 for a panel about the increasing importance of understanding international patent law.
Gonzales outlined what U.S. practitioners need to know, covering developments such as the European Unified Patent Court, case law awarding damages for foreign infringement of U.S. patents, and international litigation and regulation over standard essential patents.
She spoke alongside co-panelist Nick Schuneman of McDermott Will & Emery at the AT&T Conference Center.
