Yetter Coleman is pleased to announce that Rebecca Phelps has joined the firm as its newest associate. Her practice is focused on commercial litigation.
Rebecca graduated from Stanford Law School with Pro Bono Distinction for her extensive public service while attending law school. She served as an editor for the Stanford Journal of Law, Business and Finance, and as the Director of Communications for the Stanford Law Veterans Organization.
A Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, Rebecca served for five years of active duty before transitioning into the Navy Reserve in 2012. She graduated from the United States Naval Academy, with Merit, and received the 2006 USNA Women’s History Award for her independent research on the role of southern women in the Civil War.
Rebecca held clerkships with the U.S. Attorney Office, Northern District of California; the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office; the Securities and Exchange Commission in New York; and, the Office of California Attorney General.
