Susanna Rychlak Allen

Susanna’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and includes experience representing clients in a variety of sectors, including technology, energy, and transportation. Susanna has experience in disputes involving antitrust litigation, alleged unfair trade practices, breach of fiduciary duties, and general tort claims, among others. Susanna represents clients in state and federal courts, and she has experience at the trial and appellate level, including the cert-stage and merits stage of the Supreme Court.

Susanna received her J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School where she graduated Order of the Coif and served as the Editor in Chief of the Vanderbilt Law Review. She clerked for the Honorable Julia Smith Gibbons of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Memphis, Tennessee. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced with Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C. Upon moving to Texas, Susanna earned the highest score on the July 2021 Texas Bar Exam.

  • US Airways v. Sabre. Won monopoly abuse jury verdict in SDNY for former airline in the first post-Amex two-sided market jury trial in the U.S.
  • Represented a Fortune 50 technology company in multidistrict consumer class action litigation related to cybersecurity issues.
  • Represented a leading multinational food company in defense of multiple putative class actions alleging deceptive and misleading marketing of certain products.
  • Our Lady of Guadalupe School v. Morrissey-Berru. Represented a coalition of religious groups in support of petitioners’ successful First Amendment argument; amicus brief cited in Supreme Court majority opinion.
